Bible Schools

The Bible schools are essential in the growth and nurture of the church in Madagascar. They train catechists and evangelists to serve little village churches and to bring the gospel to areas not evangelized. The Bible school students are younger men and women with limited schooling but who are eager to care for believers and share the message of Jesus Christ with those who have not yet heard the Good News. Each Bible school has from 18 to 25 enrolled in the two-year training program.

The Bible Schools supported through this project are:

  1. Mananovy Bible School in the South Central part of Madagascar
  2. Manasoa Bible School in Southwest Madagascar
  3. Manatantely Bible School in Southeast Madagascar.

All three of these schools are in the poorest regions of Madagascar and financial support is very much needed.

The evangelists are eager to begin their ministry in the small villages after completing their studies. The evangelists are beginning their work in villages that have no believing community. Because of the poverty of the region, funds are needed to support the evangelists and their families until there is a congregation formed and they are able to provide support.
