Pastor President (Bishop) Jean Norbert Andriamihaja of the Betroka Synod in Madagascar has been sick for the past two months with a fever, sore throat, and feeling exhausted. Recently he contacted a doctor within SALFA (The Madagascar Health Care System) on the phone and the doctor said the symptoms seem to point to Typhoid Fever, so he needs to get to a large hospital to be examined.
We share this because of the following points:
- We need to pray for him as he is a great leader and administrator of Friends of Madagascar Mission (FOMM) programs and projects in Madagascar.
- Friends of Madagascar Mission (FOMM) has provided funding for a clinic in Betroka because medical care in these remote locations is not adequate and we need to help provide better medical care for the people.
- It makes us realize how fortunate we are in the USA to have good medical care, readily accessible to us 24 hours a day.
