NARCISSE Rabezato Lovamalala
FOMM Legal Specialist

Read more about Rabezato

Rabezato is currently studying to become an attorney.  He also works with FOMM to provide legal aid, in particular he is working with the Madagascar Prison Ministry as a FOMM/USA Ministry Specialist, relating to the Madagascar Prison Ministry’s Humanitarian Division (a program supported by FOMM).  His work is with the program: “Getting a Woman Out of Prison”, particularly one who has at least one child.  In Madagascar when a person is arrested, they are brought immediately to a prison and not before a judge.  So the issue is that it may take weeks, months and even in many cases years before the prisoner has an opportunity to have their case heard before a judge.  Madagascar thus has one of the worst retention policies in the world.  The goal is to seek out women who qualify for this FOMM program and follow up after being released from prison to be sure she is employed and living in a safe place.

Rabezato has a good history of working with people as an English and French teacher in high school and in a blind school; as a coach for self motivation at prisons in Fianarantsoa, and a counselor for students.

He has a Bachelor Degree from the University CENTRE DE TELE ENSEIGNEMENT DE MADAGASCAR(CNTEMAD). And after completion of law school he will establish a law office to work with the poor people who need legal assistance and cannot afford it and will also remain working with FOMM as a FOMM Legal Specialist.

He enjoys playing soccer, singing, and reading books.
He and his wife Soanambinina have two daughters: Gracia and Jane and reside at Tsiadana Antananarivo Madagascar.

Pastor Solofoniaina Anjaranirina Dieu Donné
Prison Chaplain & Prison Ministry Manager / FOMM Program Specialist

Read more about Pastor Donné

Pastor Dieu Donne is an ordained pastor of the Malagasy Lutheran Church and has served as a Prison Chaplain at the Fianarantsoa Prison since 2021 while a student at the SALT Seminary. He is married and has three children.

Pastor Dieu Donné received his Baccalaureate in Secondary Education in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, he pursued Biblical studies at the Bible School of Toby Ankaramalaza. He subsequently completed four years of pastoral theological education at the Lutheran Pastoral Theological Seminary of Vangaindrano (from 2018 to 2021) and was ordained as a pastor in 2021. From 2021 to 2026, he continued his theological education at the SALT Seminary in Fianarantsoa. In June of 2026, he earned a Master’s Degree in Theology, with a specialization in Missiology and Diakonia, focusing on Prison Ministry.

In addition to his theological studies, he has received training in Information Technology (2013) and American English (2023). In February 2026, he completed the Certified Prison Worker (CPW) Training Program offered by Prisoners for Christ (PFC).

His pastoral ministry includes evangelism, Bible teaching, prayer, spiritual and pastoral care, discipleship, preparation for baptism and confirmation, and supporting prisoners on their journey toward restoration, personal transformation, and reintegration into society.  Music and choral ministry are also an important part of his work. Pastor Dieu Donné leads and trains the Fianarantsoa Prison Choir, using music as a means of evangelism, encouragement, discipleship, and the development of prisoners’ God-given talents.

His ministry extends beyond spiritual care. He believes that Christian ministry should address the whole person, responding not only to spiritual needs but also to physical, social, and practical needs. For this reason, he is actively involved in initiatives that seek to equip prisoners with practical skills and prepare them for life after release.  He also leads the Prison Work Group, which coordinates and develops vocational training opportunities for prisoners, including soap production, sandal making, and welding. These programs seek to provide practical skills, strengthen self-confidence, develop God-given talents, and create opportunities for prisoners to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society after their release.

He believes that a person’s imprisonment does not erase their dignity or God-given potential. Therefore, Prison Ministry is not only about sharing the Gospel, but also about restoring hope, nurturing talents, encouraging transformation, and preparing people for a new beginning.
