Friends of Madagascar Mission held their June board meeting on June 25th. They heard:
- Positive reports on the finances for January through May of 2026, a $90,000.00 increase over 2025 receipts during the same period of time,
- Reports on the three categories of FOMM’s programs – Evangelism, Children in Peril, and Development Projects, and
- Two new board members were elected: Pastor Daniel Ostercamp and Mr. John Goergen were elected to serve on the board.
Three proposals were presented, discussed and approved:
- The calling of Pastor SOLOFONIAINA Anjanaririna Dieu Donne to serve full time as the chaplain at the Fianarantsoa Prison and the national prison trainer for the vocational prison program,
- “The Bridge of Hope” orphanage at the Dr. John Dyrnes School, and
- The Friends of Madagascar Mission National Coordinating Committee (FNCC) documents for Malagasy persons to manage the FOMM programs.
